This is a limited edition. The prints were created working under the name MHK2, in collaboration with CERN physicist Michael Hoch at a The Banff Centre, Canada. He took half the portfolio (the odd #"s) to share with the science community in Europe and I the even #'s to share with you. The silkscreen image is made from a composite photograph of the CMS derived from 220 high res images. The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) is a general-purpose detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The Large Hadron Collider at CERN is the world's largest and most complex scientific instrument to study the basic constituents of matter – the fundamental particles.
